A great way to support the Indigenous community and have some very delicious food! The fry bread is perfectly textured and fried, combine that with a burger and rice for a wonderful Navajo style treat. The spot itself serves as a space for artists and merchants and the art is cool. They have vegetarian options too. Love it here!

The frybread here was super fluffy and not too oily or heavy! I would recommend getting the classic Navajo taco since it had a healthy assortment of toppings. The Asian persuasion sandwich was also pretty flavorful and tasty, but could use some more lettuce. The chocolate banana sweet frybread was also a perfect post meal dessert.

This is a really nice family owned Navajo restaurant. Very casual and laid back atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and polite. I had the Navajo taco which was really great, the fry bread was light and flavorful. You would think because it is fried there would be a lot of grease but that was far from the truth. The toppings were light and fresh with really good flavor and spices. I have to say I really look forward to returning her again and trying some of there other fry bread creations, whether they be sweet or savory

I finally got here and as I figured you go in on a Thursday night and every table and the barstools are taken. The wife and I agree we have found my new go to spot. Make sure you buy 2 once the juices soak into the shell the next day is awesome also! I recommend this place to anyone who loves food. My first time here. I got the day's special, which was two smaller fry bread "tacos" with Philly cheesesteak toppings. It was a bit messy but the flavors were really good. The side of beans was not as flavorful as I'd hoped, but they have hot sauce available to help with that. Everything tasted fresh and I'll probably have to come back for the sweet offerings since I think my order could have fed two people and I had no room left. I couldn't say the place has much ambience. I'd describe it almost like a roadside diner. Warning that parking is a bit of a challenge as there are not many spots.

My husband and I LOVE fry bread but we don't get it super often so we were really excited to try Hope's! It was easy to find and they had a couple vendors here selling jewelry which was cool! It looked busy but they moved quickly here! I got a Navajo taco with the vegetarian beans, my husband just got a plain fry bread with cheese, and we got a plain tortilla for our son who is 10 months old! My husband said he wished the cheese melted a bit but that is fry bread was delicious. My taco was massive and super delicious, definitely required a fork to eat as it was falling apart haha. My son loved his tortilla, he actually ate it instead of throwing it like a lot of the things we give him haha. I love the painting on the walls here and the art they sell and have on display is cool! Really cool place and I'd totally come back.

My Wife has been making Fry-Bread & Sopaipillas for decades which she learned from her mom as a child. Both of us were excited to see Hope's open in Mesa. Parking Parking is limited and adjacent business spaces may be necessary. Ambiance The Resturant's building bones are diner counter esk, and the wonderfully displayed bright cultural decor sets the vibe of this authentic Navajo fry-bread experience. Service My Wife and I sat at the counter enjoying conversation with the employee at the register when the "owner" Hope came out to chat with my wife ( Southern Ute) for a few minutes for a little childhood reminiscing. Our food was served quickly despite it being so busy, all the employees were hustling to make it all work during the rush. Menu Fry-break offerings included everything from powdered sugar sweet to loaded with protein, beans and variety of vegetables and cheese, Yum! If you're curious or a a fry-bread junky Hope's is a fun and tasty place to visit! $/$$

The food was authentic per the patrons that frequently visit. The service is quick and pleasant. The cashier helped me navigate the menu and make the best recommendations. We enjoyed the communal dining experiences with other customers. It was also nice to look at the artwork, cards, and other native made merchandise for sale. This is a quaint place that doesn't disappoint.

Loved the food! I happened to stumble across this fry bread location and boy am I glad I did! I decided to try a new dish alternative to what I usually get and settled on the smashburger fry bread. It was delicious! Sweet and tangy and hearty. On the side I got the pasta salad. Another good choice! Cold pasta with cheese and crunchy bell peppers. For dessert I got the classic honey and power sugar fry bread. It was a perfect pairing for an end of the meal delicious dessert. Service was quick. The ambience was pleasant and the food was delicious, I will definitely be back!
